Creates peace of mind
The goal is not simply to create documents — it is to leave clients with confidence that their loved ones, wishes, and future plans are protected.
Corrie brings more than 25 years of legal experience practicing in Alaska and is now based in Washington, where she lives in Port Townsend and serves clients in both Washington and Alaska. She earned both her Master of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Oregon and was admitted to the Alaska Bar in 2003, followed by admission to the Washington Bar in 2023.
Her background includes service with the Alaska Superior Court as a law clerk and Deputy Magistrate, along with years in private practice handling business, real estate, probate, and nonprofit matters. She also has significant experience as a mediator in both court-connected and private settings, helping people work through difficult issues and reach practical solutions.
Through her public defense work and service with organizations supporting vulnerable individuals, she saw firsthand how the absence of clear planning can create real hardship for individuals and families. That experience is what led her to focus on estate planning, where she brings a steady, practical approach shaped by a real-world perspective. Corrie is a member of Wealth Counsel, a national community of estate planning attorneys focused on continuing education and collaboration.
Since moving to Port Townsend, Corrie has become active in the local community, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Jefferson Community Foundation. She values the opportunity to support local organizations and contribute to the community she now calls home.
Outside of work, Corrie enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time outdoors, whether hiking in the Olympic Mountains or exploring the waters of Puget Sound. She is grateful to live and practice in a place where she can build meaningful, lasting relationships with her clients and neighbors.
